Hellmann’s has announced three new Vegan Mayo’s launching in January just in time for Veganuary. We can now look forward to Chipotle Vegan Mayo, Garlic Vegan Mayo and..... Vegan Baconnaise. Yum.
These will certainly make the month long challenge to go vegan in January a lot easier.
To celebrate the launch of the plant-based condiments, the brand has announced some rather novel ways of giving away early samples of the new Bacconaise with the #BringHomeTheVeganBacon campaign. If your surname is Bacon you can register to ty a jar early here.
And if you live on a Bacon Street, keep your ear out for the door as the brand will be making random deliveries to Bacon Street residents across the UK.
Rachel Chambers, Senior Marketing Manager at Hellmann’s UK & Ireland, said in the press release: “We know just how bacon-hungry our nation is, so we figured we couldn’t hide this one from our British fans any longer. And who better to try our all-new bacon-flavoured vegan mayo first than those that share the name of our all-time favourite meat?
"We’re like pigs in mud with our new Baconnaise, and the just-as-tasty Chipotle and Garlic spreads. We can’t wait for UK consumers to taste it for themselves – especially at a time when the bacon cravings might be hitting little piggies’ homes the most. It might be rash to say it tastes just like the real thing – but we wouldn’t be telling porkies if we did.”
Hellmann’s Vegan Mayo Baconnaise, Chipotle and Garlic spreads will be available nationwide from Ocado, Amazon Fresh and Asda retailers, at £2.50 per jar.
