Kopparberg is well respected when it comes to delivering fruity flavours and the brand's latest release is no different. In fact it's a return to the flavour that started it all.

New limited edition Kopparberg Pear Gin is a throwback to the classic Kopparberg Pear Cider— launched in 1999 — that kick-started the journey to the flavour powerhouse the brand is today.

Kopparberg has already launched three successful flavoured gins — Strawberry and Lime, Mixed Fruit and Passionfruit & Orange — and there's high hopes for the fourth. The brand says it delivers the classic fruit taste perfected in its Pear Cider, now in a crisp and warming spirit.

Rob Salvesen, Head of Marketing at Kopparberg said in the press release: “When we launched Kopparberg Pear Cider back in 1999, it completely transformed the way drinkers enjoyed cider and revolutionised the cider market in the UK as we know it.

"Pear was the flavour that made this brand famous, and as we continue to delight fans with our spirits range, we’re proud to be going full circle, bringing the renowned crisp pear taste to our premium gin range."

The brand's recommended serve is over mountains of ice with lemonade or tonic, and a slice of pear; which will look and smell divine as a garnish.

It also sounds perfect for getting creative with refreshing autumnal cocktails and we can't wait to try it.

Kopparberg Pear Gin is available at Morrisons stores from 7 October 2020 on a limited-edition basis, £20 for a 70cl bottle, ABV 37.5%
