Many a family drama has begun with arguments over who gets the face of the Colin the Caterpillar cake; it's the best part, let's face it! But now that never needs to happen again, as M&S has brought out new Mini Colin the Caterpillar Faces. A whole bag filled with just tasty chocolate Colin faces to enjoy!
The snacks have white chocolate faces with milk chocolate eyes, just like the one that comes on the famous cake.
The new treat was spotter by an eagle-eyed food blogger on Instagram, and has caused quite the stir with over five thousand likes in one day, and hundreds and hundred of comments.
"Totally the best part of the cake!" commented one fan, with another asking; "Why haven’t they done this before?"
One even suggested it might be better than wine or a cocktail, tagging a friend and writing: "Shall we just eat some of these next time we see each other rather than having a few drinks?"
And one simply said: "Game-changer."
Joining the legendary ranks of Percy Pigs and the jelly Colin Caterpillars, we can't wait to try M&S' latest bagged sweet.
It turns out the new launch is in honour of Colin's 30th Birthday, with the supermarket revealing that Wednesday, 26 August will mark 30 years since it launched the nation's favourite cake.
M&S is declaring it ‘National Colin the Caterpillar Day’, and we can't wait to celebrate!
Mini Colin the Caterpillar Faces are available in M&S stores now and cost £2 per packet.
