Gü has answered our summer dreams with the latest addition to its line of delicious and addictive dessert pots.

It has partnered with heritage Cornish clotted cream brand Rodda's to bring us new Wild Strawberry & Clotted Cream Cheesecakes – and they sound incredible.

Whether you're a classic Vanilla and Chocolate Cheesecake fan, have a weakness for the brand's Molten Chocolate puds, or are partial to one of the Zillionaire's Cheesecakes or Key Lime Pies; is definitely a hero of the dessert aisle.

Now the brand has created a dessert inspired by summer afternoon tea, perfect for those of us who prefer fruity sweet treats to chocolate.

The brand has enlisted Rodda's, a family company that's been in the clotted cream business since 1890, to create these delicious new puds with the iconic British combination of strawberries and cream.

Starting with a crumbly biscuit base, there's then a creamy layer of Rodda's clotted cream and mascarpone cheesecake, topped off with sweet and refreshing wild strawberry compote. A perfect treat for warm and lazy afternoons in the garden, or something sweet after a delicious alfresco meal in the sun.

Like all the brand's puds, the Wild Strawberry & Clotted Cream Cheesecakes come in fully recyclable ramekins, and are being sold in pairs for an RRP of £3.30. They're already available at Sainsbury's and Waitrose now, with a reduced introductory price of £2.

The good news is they aren't limited edition, so we'll be able to enjoy the new pud all year round.

Gü’s Wild Strawberry & Clotted Cream Cheesecake are available in Waitrose and Sainsbury’s for an RRP of £3.30, with a reduced introductory price of £2. The desserts will launch in other major retailers from June.
