With this in mind, Morrisons launched a huge BBQ box of goodies, available with next day, contact-free delivery and priced at £35 inclusive. The boxes are a super easy way to quickly get your hands on all the things you'll need for a BBQ feast with no hassle or planning.
Available now, the boxes contain 25 pieces of meat, all sourced from British farmers, as well as halloumi for vegetarians, bread rolls, seven packs of vegetables (including closed cup mushrooms and sweet peppers); salads, coleslaw, humous, marinades and more. And, of course, there are sweets treats included in the form of brownies and flapjacks. The supermarket giant says its BBQ boxes will comfortably feed a family of four adults.
Tessa Callaghan, Head of Food Boxes at Morrisons said in a press release when the boxes launched: "Many people are looking to get their BBQs out – in a socially distanced way.
"We want to play our full part in feeding the nation and we hope this BBQ food box will help more people to enjoy a sunny day."
