Oranges, orange peel, cocoa powder and real life Jaffa Cakes; that's what a new gin has been distilled with to create a delicious spirit for both gin and Jaffa Cake lovers everywhere.
Jaffa Cake gin promises to have an uncanny taste resemblance to the delicious baked treat, without being sickly sweet – and, frankly, we can't wait to give it a try.
With a Marmalade-style smell and a rich chocolate undertone, this new gin should have Jaffa Cake fans' mouths watering, while the new tipple also sounds perfect for gin lovers with a sweet tooth – it's definitely a gin, rather than a liqueur.
We reckon the quality spirit will make an excellent addition to your classic G&T, while also working well in other cocktails — with a Jaffa Cake garnish, naturally!
Its makers particularly recommend trying a Jaffa Cake Negroni. A simple mix, all you have to do is add 25ml each of Jaffa Cake Gin, Campari and Martini Rosso sweet Vermouth into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Strain into an ice-filled tumbler and add a touch of orange peel as a garnish.
You can order a bottle of Jaffa Cake gin for £27.95 or buy a recipe bundle so you can easily whip up tasty Jaffa Cake Negronis from Master of Malt, getting three full sized bottles of the tipples you'll need – Jaffa Cake Gin, Campari and Martini Rosso – for £45.35, currently reduced from the RRP of £64.35.
