Cadbury are starting off the New Year by going back to an old favourite - as the brand has revealed they're relaunching their classic Cadbury Bournville Old Jamaica bar in 2020.
Fans of the iconic bar know its dark chocolate rum and raisin flavour well, but if you haven't tried it before, now's your chance! The chocolate bar has a more intense, rich and fruity flavour compared to your standard Dairy Milk variety and originally launched in 1970.
Since then, it's been brought back a handful of times in limited-edition appearances, but it hasn't been seen on shelves since Cadbury brought it back for a one-year relaunch 10 years ago.
Fans were so passionate about the flavour they petitioned Cadbury on Facebook to bring it back, and the brand listened. It's available in stores now, in both 180g and 100g sizes.
"We’re really excited to bring back the return of Bournville Old Jamaica bar," said Bournville Brand Manager Bethany Wenn.
"The relaunch highlights the increasing consumer demand to bring back retro flavours."
This isn't the only launch to keep an eye out for in 2020 - Cadbury are also bringing out new Creme Egg Selection Tins and Mini Eggs Tins early this year, so stay tuned for more information!
