Edinburgh Gin have launched the world's first Gin Safe - a limited edition box that's sure to add a bit of fun to your Christmas celebrations this year.
Each safe is a hand-crafted clear box containing a 70cl bottle of Edinburgh Gin inside, with a choice of flavours including Classic, Rhubarb & Ginger, Lemon & Jasmine or Bramble & Honey. But to get to the tipple, you'll need to solve a cryptic clue that reveals the combination to open the padlock and get into the safe.
Each box's secret code is known only to its makers, meaning you'll have to knuckle down and think hard to get inside - think of it like an escape room, but in reverse. This makes for a great personalised Christmas gift this season - and once the safe has been opened, it can then be used as a permanent 'gin safe' to keep your favourite tipple secure.
"Given Christmas is the most wonder-filled time of the year, we wanted to bring some of our own distinctive magic to the concept of gift wrapping with our gin safes," says Neil Mowat, UK Marketing Director at Edinburgh Gin.
"Designed with the ultimate gin fan in mind, they’ll be able to see the reward that’s waiting for them, but they’ll need to have a little fun first to unlock the wonder within."
