Aldi's sell-out 6 litre Prosecco bottle is set to return to the bargain supermarket's online store on 1 November. With the product flying off shelves in just one day last year, fans of the festive tipple will want to be quick to get their hands on it this year.
The eight-bottle Prosecco (that's 67 glasses!) is pale straw in colour with aromas of fresh citrus fruits and wisteria flower. On the palate, the wine has a refreshing acidity and soft sherbet taste.
The product is priced at £99.99 and is anticipated to make a big splash in the lead-up to Christmas this year.
Julie Ashfield, managing director of buying at Aldi UK, said: "Christmas is a time when we know our shoppers come together with their friends and family to share a quality glass of fizz.
"As ever, sparkling wine is incredibly important in the run up to the festive season, so we wanted to give them something bigger and better than ever!"
By creating such a huge bottle, Aldi has inevitably bought family and friends together as of course you will need a few people to finish off this one.
