Aldi are getting into the festive spirit this year with the release of their first ever Candy Cane Gin Liqueur.

The Christmas-inspired tipple will be available in stores and online from 1st October and is priced at £9.99. Featuring flavours of sweet peppermint and vanilla, it's sure to fit right in with your Christmas spread this year, and can be enjoyed neat or mixed with your favourite tonic.

Aldi's gin range has proven popular with both consumers and critics alike, with their Greyson's Seville Orange & Persian Lime Gin (£14.99) awarded a 'Masters' title at the latest Spirits Business Gin Masters.

In August, Aldi revealed the full lineup for their 2019 Christmas menu, which includes a range of boozy cakes, a Morello Cherry pudding and a festive Christmas bauble created from gingerbread-flavoured white chocolate. On the savoury side, there's mini Beef Wellingtons, loaded Yorkshire Puddings and more.

There are also several vegetarian- and vegan-friendly options on the menu this year, including vegan mini bites and a vegan turmeric, garlic and ginger cauliflower centrepiece.
