As a general rule of thumb, if something involves chocolate, we're interested. Which is why these Cadbury covered Oreos sound so up our street, after the chocolate and biscuit brands announced their collaboration.
For the first time ever, Oreo Cookies now come with the addition of smooth Cadbury Chocolate, aptly named the Oreo Cadbury Coated. What a combination.
Cadbury say the new creation "offers the biscuity deliciousness of Oreo completely covered in iconic Cadbury chocolate to give a taste like no other." We can believe it.
Joanna Dias, Senior Brand Manager at Mondelēz International, said of the new launch: "We’re thrilled to launch Oreo Cadbury Coated. We wanted to give our fans an even more delicious version of the much-loved cookie we all know so well and offer them a brand new eating experience.'
The launch comes after Cadbury and Oreo fans alike first got wind of the Coated collaboration way back in August 2017, when they launched in Australia. At the time, there was no word of when we might experience them in our neck of the woods, but Mondelēz have done us proud.
Anyone else planning a lunch break Sainsbury's trip? Oreo Cadbury Coated (164g) will be available in all major retailers with a RRP of £2.
