Back in January when Marks & Spencer launched its first ever vegan range, shoppers went pretty crazy for it. And it's not surprising considering there's around 600,000 vegans in the UK, with many more adopting a flexitarian diet.
The range launched to much fanfare, especially as M&S became the first supermarket to launch vegan coleslaw, vegan potato salad and vegan-friendly sourdough pizza.
And we can confirm that their pre-prepared meal range, including the likes of cauliflower popcorn, mushroom stroganoff, no pork sausages and Thai green curry was pretty spectacular.
Which is why we're so excited to learn that the supermarket has expanded the Plant Kitchen range, adding even more brand spanking new products to the line.
First up are the Notzzeralla Sticks, soft mozzarella-style vegan cheese in a crispy breadcrumb coating, served up with an Italian tomato dip, along with Mac Bites, Macaroni pasta with oozy vegan cheese sauce coated in crisp herby breadcrumbs.
There's also a Sri Lankan-style sweet potato & cashew curry with sweet potatoes & spinach served with rice, quinoa & chickpeas.
And for something a little sweeter, there are four new desserts on offer: coconut panna cotta with mango, a vegan chocolate mousse, churros and chocolate sauce, and a zingy raspberry jelly.
