Chemena has a collection of 1,500 blouses, which she uses as inspiration for her floaty, feminine designs at Chloe. She wears blouses herself, too, always paired with jeans or tailored trousers and a tangle of meaningful jewellery.

Feeling inspired by Chemena’s vibe, I dug through my wardrobe and unearthed a forgotten pink chiffon number from 2017, coincidentally, the last time blouses ruled. With its V-neck and ruffles, it’s almost identical to this one from M&S. Slipping it on with my favourite jeans, ballet flats and a few of my favourite necklaces was honestly so uplifting to my mood, it surprised me.
