As many of us swap traveling abroad for staycations, our holiday packing lists are going to look a little different this year.

Travel Bag
First things first, ditch the suitcase and swap it for a stylish weekend bag. If you're heading away for a few days, a simple duffle bag you can throw over your shoulder is all you'll need.

Waterproof Jacket
British weather can leave you enjoying an ice cream in the sunshine one minute, and then caught in a downpour the next. Classic. A little rain never hurt anybody though, so pack yourself a waterproof jacket and don't let the weather spoil your fun.

Comfy shoes are a must-pack if you're planning on walking or doing outdoor activities on your trip. For hikes, get yourself a good pair of walking boots, and for easy park walks or strolls around the town, a classic pair of trainers you're comfortable in will do.

Staycations can often leave you heading straight from an afternoon exploring the town to dinner and drinks, so a dress that can easily work for both occasions is a must.
Linen dresses are great for sunnier days as they keep you cool and looking stylish, while still being smart enough to wear into the evening. Just swap your trainers for a pair of strappy sandals and you're good to go.

Sunglasses
