Bridgerton's Adjoa Andoh arrived at Chelsea Flower Show on Monday (20 May) and looked stunning in a white cape-style look.

The star attended the annual garden extravaganza in a structured shirt dress with flowing sleeves, which she accessorised with gold hoop earrings and co-ordinating bangles.

This year, a Bridgerton themed garden is debuting at Chelsea Flower Show, designed by first-time Chelsea designer Holly Johnston. The plot of the Netflix series, based on the books by Julia Quinn, is the inspiration for the garden, in particular the character Penelope Featherington.

Penelope, played by Nicola Coughlan, and her relationship endeavours are the focus of the new, third series of the show.

The planting of the garden therefore reflects themes of secrecy and seclusion, as well as personal growth and blossoming to co-ordinate with her character's journey through the season. Therefore, the Bridgerton garden will be split into two, with one side being more shaded, to allude to themes of mystery, turmoil and defiance.

Speaking to Good Housekeeping, garden designer Holly Johnston said, "This garden is not just Penelope's story, but it's also a story of finding your confidence and feeling comfortable in your own skin. It's also about reconciling b0th parts of you and being ok with that. To me, that's a very worthy message to bring to life, especially to young women."
