And, if you're looking for more Christmas jumper inspiration, here are our favourite high street styles to shop now...
We’re low-key obsessed with this Christmas jumper. Not only is it inspired by the famous red sheep knit worn by Princess Diana in 1981, but with a festive twist, it also references one of our favourite Christmas songs: Feliz Navidad. Plus, we’ve had a feel of this knit in real life and it’s thick and cosy.
Sadly, it's very low on stock but if you're lucky, you may nab one!
We love a play on words, and this fun yet knowing sweatshirt lets you maintain a dignified distance from all the OTT novelty festive knits out there. Yes, you’re wearing a Christmas jumper, but you’re totally in on the joke. Note: this sweatshirt only comes in a large size. Shout out to the “All the jingle ladies” design in the same range.
Or for something a little more colourful, this checkerboard Christmas tree design is suitably festive and currently reduced. There are only a few sizes left though, so be quick if you want to snap it up (you can check stock levels in-store though).
This is a more subtle take on the Christmas jumper if you want to keep it classy. We’d pair it with a sparkly gold skirt if you want to amp up the glamour. This one is also available in black and white and would go very well with Marks and Spencer’s gorgeous sparkly silver midi skirt.
Again, we can’t stress this enough: don’t hang around with these festive knits as they sell out very fast!
Missed out on the M&S x Bella Freud launch? Treat yourself to the real deal with this jumper, which the designer brings out every season. In tribute to possibly the most popular Christmas song of all time (although Mariah Carey may have something to say about that), it’s one you can bring out year after year.
If you don’t want to fork out for one of the jumpers, we think this long-sleeved tee will look very chic under that velvet trouser suit you have your eye on (or already have in your wardrobe). Style with trainers and some sparkly jewellery for the coolest take on Christmas Jumper Day.
Brora is a great go-to for Fair Isle knits that will last you all through winter (not just the 12 days of Christmas). You never know, you may even spot it on series 3 of The Traitors come January – Claudia and her stylist are big fans of the high-end, high street brand.
It is pricey, so keep an eye out for any sale periods when you might be able to save a little. Wear this à la Claudia with some skinny black jeans or clash your prints with some wide-leg checked trousers.
