Strictly season is nearly upon us, and to celebrate, this year’s crop of contestants have donned their most spangly outfits to hit the red carpet for the big launch.
Joining celebrities including Greg Rutherford, Lesley Joseph and Louise Redknapp were the Strictly dancers - who looked glamorous as ever - plus, of course, the judges.
And didn’t everyone look amazing?!
Leading the sparkly parade was TV presenter Laura Whitmore, who wore this short, yellow beaded gown with a seriously low back. Not one for the faint-hearted, although she looks incredible in it.
Model Daisy Lowe also dared to bare with her fitted red mesh gown, below, while Louise Redknapp wore a drop-waisted, lilac dress with plenty of swishy fringing. Very 1920s.

Lesley Joseph and Anastacia both opted for low-cut, jewel-toned gowns, which were (naturally) covered in sparkles.
Eastenders star Tameka Empson wore a vibrant, beaded gown, in a tropical palette of turquoise and blues. Opting for similarly fabulous fringing was gymnast Claudia Fragapane, who chose a bright pink, two-piece outfit which made her look like a salsa star in the making!
And it wasn’t just the ladies donning their sequins – proving it takes a true man to where sparkles was Greg Rutherford in this glitter-trimmed mesh shirt.

Other male celebrities opted for the ballroom look, with Will Young and Ed Balls both wearing suits (will did accessorize with some jazzy shoes though!)
And the judges scrubbed up well as ever, with the men in tailored suits and Darcy looking beautiful in an elegant, full-length gown.
Finally, let’s not forget our favourite twosome, Strictly presenters Tess and Claudia, who stuck to their signature styles of block colours and strong shapes for the red carpet.
The new series starts this Saturday, 3rd September on BBC One.
