Beloved actress, Cate Blanchett, was all smiles as she was seen chatting to William, Prince of Wales, at the BAFTAs on Sunday, 18 February.
The prestigious awards ceremony, which takes place at The Royal Festival Hall, London, is frequented by celebrities and royalty alike. And, this year was no exception to the rule — with a particularly sweet moment occurring when US-Australian actress, Cate, was seen catching up with Prince William.
Alongside greeting the royal with a huge smile on her face, Cate was also seen sat next to William during the ceremony, with the pair enjoying a conversation together.
Always one to look glamorous, 54-year-old Cate looked so elegant at the ceremony, opting for an elegant, high-neck maroon gown. To give a twist to the graceful ensemble, the gown (which is designed by Louis Vuitton) featured a gothic harness and also showcased a leather-look collar and sleeves. For her beauty look, the star wore her signature, blonde hair in a classic updo and sported a smokey eye with a muted red lip.
Later in the ceremony, The Prince of Wales was seen shaking hands with ex-footballer, David Beckham. The pair were also both seen smiling and chatting to each other, while Cate looked on from her seat in the audience.
Cate was attending the BAFTAs as she had presenting duties at the awards ceremony. David Tennant was also presenting during the evening.
The BAFTAs took place at The Royal Festival Hall, London, on February 18, 2024.
