Jennifer Garner changes out of her heels for trainers on the red carpet

Jennifer Garner walked the red carpet in a red dress and strappy heels in Los Angeles on Wednesday (29 November).

The star was attending the premiere of Netflix's Family Switch and arrived in a sleeveless red dress with a dual-layered, asymmetric skirt. Jennifer wore her hair in soft waves with a side part, tucking her hair behind her ear to reveal a dramatic pair of statement red and gold earrings.

Initially, the star wore a pair of strappy black high heels with her dress as she posed for the paparazzi on the red carpet. However, Jennifer swapped out the formal footwear for a pair of festive red, white and green trainers instead.

She appeared to be having a great time as she showed off her comfortable shoes in a series of high kicks and jumps. She was even pictured alongside The Office US and The Hangover actor, Ed Helms cuddling a dog (who is in fact a co-star!) clad in a knitted winter jumper.

Fans of the Freaky Friday films will be familiar with the concept of Family Switch. Jennifer and Ed star as married couple Bill and Jess Walker, who wake one morning to find that they, their three kids and their dog (as pictured with Jennifer at the premiere) have swapped bodies. The movie is set during the Christmas period and is a new festive film offering to add to the classics this winter.
