Julianne Moore looked ethereal in a dramatic cape look on the red carpet in New York City on Monday (27 November).
The actor joined a star-studded line-up for this year's Gotham Awards, which took place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York. For the glamorous event, Julianne opted for a floor-length black gown with cape-style sleeves and the monochrome canvas meant her hair and make-up took centre stage in the look.
Julianne wore her glossy red locks in loose waves, which she tucked behind her ears to reveal studding statement earrings of layered diamond curves. The star's deep, smoky eye makeup complimented the warm tones of her hair and eye colour, and paired perfectly with a sweep of bronzer and a muted, glossy lip to finish the look.
Also attending Monday's award ceremony were Hollywood stars Penelope Cruz, Rachel McAdams and Barbie director, Greta Gerwig, while Michelle Williams walked down the red carpet with her husband, theatre director Thomas Kail.
Michelle wore a structured black dress with a deep sweetheart neckline, which she balanced with a double set of large pearls set on a gold band. The star opted for a soft makeup look which complimented her neat, blonde pixie crop.
Her husband, Thomas, on the other hand, looked sharp in a smart black suit and crisp white shirt, which he wore with a striped tie. The couple held hands as they posed for the paparazzi on arrival to the event.
