Queen Camilla continued her run of polished winter outfits this week with another effortlessly sophisticated look in a bold colour.

The Queen wore a vibrant royal blue dress paired with black suede boots and gold jewellery to host the Booker Prize Foundation reception at Clarence House on Thursday (23 November).

Her Majesty, who is patron of a number of literacy charities, welcomed this year's Booker Prize authors to the house ahead of the prestigious awards ceremony, which is due to be held in London on Sunday.

It has been a busy week for the royal family, who hosted a state banquet at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday in honour of the arrival of Yoon Suk Yeol, the South Korean President, and Kim Keon Hee, South Korea's First Lady.

For the grand occasion, the Queen wore a red velvet floor-length gown which was paired with sparkling ruby and diamond jewels.

These included the late Queen Elizabeth II's Burmese Ruby tiara, made by the House of Garrard in 1973. To complement the striking headpiece, Camilla wore a matching ruby and diamond necklace and pendant earrings.

Earlier in the week, Camilla opted for another vibrant colour when she attended the Foreign Press Association Awards in London on Monday evening. She chose a seasonal staple - a velvet long-sleeved midi dress - in a rich emerald green shade for the event.
