Viola Davis walked the red carpet in a stunning, sparkling look in Hollywood on Monday (13 November), for the premiere of her latest movie.

Viola wore a green sequin cape dress for the event at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, where The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes was showing.

The actor looked every inch the Hollywood star in her shimmering dress, which she paired with black court shoe heels and simple jewellery, including a statement gold bangle.

Joining Viola on the red carpet was her husband, Julius Tennon, who co-ordinated with his wife's stunning look in a green suit. Julius wore a khaki blazer and trouser combo over a deeper green shirt, which he wore open at the collar to reveal a turtle neck underneath.

The stylish duo appeared to be having fun at the event, as Viola laughed and made peace signs as she posed for the paparazzi.

Viola was also photographed with her fellow cast members at the screening. The cast includes Peter Dinklage, who wore a dramatic, all-black suit look, and the movie's lead actress, Rachel Zelger, who was etherial in a flowing, Grecian-style dress.

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is the latest film in The Hunger Games franchise and is a prequel set before the existing trilogy, which stars Jennifer Lawrence as heroine Katniss Everdeen.

In the new instalment, Viola Davis is the villain of the film. She plays the character Dr. Volumnia Gaul, who is the Head Gamemaker for the annual Hunger Games.
