When is Black Friday?
Black Friday is one of the biggest shopping events in the calendar with huge discount sales offered by biggest brands on the high street across home, tech, wellness and more. The sales first started across the pond in America during the '50s, and traditionally marked the start of the Christmas shopping period after Thanksgiving was over.
Black Friday itself takes place on 29 November this year with discounts running across the weekend until Cyber Monday on 2 December. But with the (now global) sales event getting bigger every year, retailers are starting to drop their prices throughout November.
