Kristin Scott Thomas looked radiant in a purple wrap dress for a glamorous event in London last Wednesday (25 October).

The star was attending the after party of a press event for Lyonnesse, a play she stars in alongside Lily James.

For the occasion, Kristin opted for a long sleeve midi dress is deep purple by Jasper Conran, featuring a cinching waist tie.

Her exact look is the 'Celia Silk Full Skirt Shirt Dress' which comes in a range of colours, including black and three other bold tones in addition to Kristin's purple pick: mustard, pink and blue.

Kristin Scott Thomas and Lily James are starring in the play Lyonesse together at the iconic Harold Pinter Theatre. According to the theatre, the story follows Kristin's character Elaine, "a reclusive and talented actress" who mysteriously disappears. 30 years later. she decides to tell her story to a film exec called Kate, played by Lily James, inviting her to a remote Cornish house to reveal all.

"But who really controls the stories we tell, and how we get to tell them? Will these women own their narrative, or will it be swept away from them at any given moment?" asks the synopsis.

The play has a limited 10 week run in London, which began on 17 October and runs until 23 December this year.

The pair were celebrating the press night after party for their new play in the city's capital, both looking glamorous in sweeping dresses.
