The Princess Royal, Princess Anne, looked smart and elegant in a tartan outfit as she attended royal engagements this week (beginning 2 October).

A post shared to the official social media account for The Royal Family revealed that Anne had undertaken a visit to Cornwall, where she met with a family run business to view their new packaging centre. Alongside four photos of The Princess Royal undertaking her engagement, a caption reads: "🥚 This week The Princess Royal visited the Cornish HQ of family-run business @StEweEggs to open their new grading and packing centre."

"📦 The new facility will allow the company to upgrade its production infrastructure so that they can continue to thrive and grow."

In the images shared to social media, Anne can be seen viewing several parts of the process at the centre, including being given an insight into how eggs are packaged. And, in the third image shared to social media, a glimpse of her stylish outfit can be seen — with the Princess choosing to sport a classic and elegant tartan look.

The Princess Royal has been busy attending a whole host of occasions recently, including the inauguration of the OWO Whitehall, the Old War Office Building, on 26 September. For the event, the Princess once again chose an elegant outfit, this time opting for a bright blue two-pice suit composed of a blazer and skirt.

The OWO has now been re-opened after a six-year refurbishment. A statement on the official website for the building reads: "Hundreds of craftspeople restored period features, including hand-laid mosaic floors, rich oak panelling, magnificent chandeliers and the dramatic marble staircase."
