The Princess of Wales chose a sophisticated tailored look for her most recent engagement on Monday, 18 September.
For her trip to the Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton in Somerset, Kate wore a striking black double-breasted blazer from Holland Cooper, one of her favoured British brands, paired with matching tailored trousers, a white t-shirt and black suede, heeled pumps.
The tailored two-piece has become one of Kate's go-to style choices lately. On a visit to HMP High Down earlier in September, the Princess was seen wearing an elegant navy Alexander McQueen suit. She chose a glamorous all-white suit for England's first game in the Rugby World Cup and, when a practical outfit was required for a visit to a school's outdoor learning project in Hereford on Thursday (14 September), Kate still embraced tailoring in a slightly more casual checked blazer. She dressed the jacket down with skinny jeans and lace-up boots.
Kate's visit to the Royal Naval Air Station comes just a few weeks after King Charles announced her role as Commodore in chief of the Fleet Air Arm. During the engagement, the princess met with Royal Navy air traffic controllers, technicians and junior personnel. She was shown the flotation and flying equipment, including an aircrew life jacket that inflated a little quicker than she expected.
While Kate visited Somerset, her husband, the Prince of Wales, flew to New York for the second Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit.
