Jane Moore looked ready for summer in a blue midi dress while on holiday on Croatia - despite her disastrous experience with the weather!
In a post to her 162k followers on Instagram, Jane revealed that she'd been invited away for a short break to Croatia, where she was expecting a relaxing, sun-drenched holiday. Unfortunately, while most of the UK was experiencing a heatwave, the part of Croatia she was visiting was hit with torrential rain.
"It rained biblically for the first three days, forcing me to purchase this rather fetching pac-a-mac for my day trip on the ferry to Dubrovnik," Jane wrote in a caption alongside the post.
Making light of the incident, Jane shared a photo of herself wearing the rain mac and holding an umbrella in front of a sign for ferry tickets. In a clip also included in the post, rain water can be seen cascading down a flight of stone steps.
Luckily, Jane revealed, the sun did make it out for her last day. In the final photo she shared, Jane poses for a beautiful sunset shot with three friends, wearing a stylish blue midi dress with a tied bust and contrasting stripe patterning.
Despite the upturn in the weather, it seemed Jane's luck reverted back again when she got to the airport:
"Luckily, the sun put its hat on for my last day before heading to the airport to discover the BA flight was delayed and we didn’t eventually land until 2am," she wrote. However, Jane said the trip "was still great fun."
