The New York City premiere of Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City gave stars an opportunity to dole out some fresh red-carpet looks. Among the stylish A-listers present were Margot Robbie in a sculpted Schiaparelli minidress, Maya Hawke in a glittering Prada creation, and Scarlett Johansson in an incredible Carolina Herrera gown.
Scarlett’s all-white look, pulled from the designer’s Resort 2024 collection, met somewhere in the middle between the realms of bridal fashion and summer holiday wardrobe. It included a body-hugging ruched bodice, held up by thin halter straps, that extended into an extreme drop waist before flaring out into a gathered ankle-length skirt. For footwear, the actor opted for glittering steel-tip pumps. She further accessorised with pearl-and-diamond drop earrings and an array of gold-and-gemstone rings.

Scarlett previously pulled out all the stops for her red-carpet look at the worldwide premiere of Asteroid City at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
At the time, the star arrived on the famed carpeted steps wearing a pale pink sheath gown, custom-made by Prada. Scarlett accessorised the look minimally, wearing only a few rings and and star-shaped dangle diamond earrings from David Yurman.
The actor changed into a second Prada look for the after-party, in which she wore a yellow-green satin minidress with white heeled sandals and a metallic clutch.
