The Prince and Princess of Wales have returned to their royal duties for a joint engagement today after a short break to spend time with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The royal couple travelled to Scarborough on Thursday (3 November) following the announcement that the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales and Yorkshire-based organisation, the Two Ridings Community Foundation, had joined forces to generate funding for young people's mental health services in the area.
Kate and William met with local organisations, The Street and The Rainbow Centre, on their visit to hear how the funding will impact those in the local area.
For the occasion, the Princess of Wales opted for an autumnal, monochrome look in all-beige. Kate wore a camel-coloured roll neck dress teamed with matching court heels, complete with a tailored coat and matching luxury Demellier handbag. The Duchess kept her hair and makeup simple, with her trademark loose waves in a side parting and minimal makeup.
The Prince, on the other hand, was also layered up in a burgundy jumper and navy suit as the pair met with young people in the area to hear how the additional funding will serve the community now and in the future.
The Kensington Royal Twitter account gave further insight into the royal couple's trip. Alongside an image of the pair meeting with locals, a tweet read: "So so pleased to announce £345,000 of funding from The Royal Foundation and @TwoRidingsCF, leaving a lasting legacy of support for young people's mental health here in Scarborough.
"The young people we’ve had the pleasure of meeting today will play a key role ensuring this funding gets exactly where it needs to go and makes a difference to communities across Scarborough now and way into the future."
