Claire Foy looked beautiful and eye-catching as she hit the red carpet at the New York Film Festival on Monday, 10 October.

Attending an event to promote her upcoming drama Women Talking, the Emmy-winning actress wowed us with her style yet again. Claire wore a bold red Valentino dress, the simplicity of the garment drew focus to the details: the cut-outs and bow adornments on the side that gave a feminine and tasteful touch. Showing off her elegant beauty, the a-line gown stopped just above the ground — a simple and classic silhouette.

The dress was styled with a statement plum lip and a flicked black eyeliner, adding to the retro glamour of the overall look. She wore her straight hair parted at the middle and down her back — far from the trademark hairstyle we saw her in as the young Queen Elizabeth in The Crown. The slicked back hairstyle allowed her display her sparkly line drop earrings front and centre.

Claire was styled by Nicky Yates, who also regularly dresses Daisy Edgar-Jones (Normal People and Where the Crawdads Sing). The stylist dressed The Crown actress in a beautiful Prada gown for Toronto Film Festival back in September.

Women Talking will see Claire Foy star alongside Rooney Mara and Jessie Buckley and will hit cinemas on February 10 in the UK. Directed by Sarah Polley and adapted from the 2018 novel of the same name, the film follows a group of women from a religious community who have experienced sexual assault.
