Tilda Swinton was the very picture of elegance and glamour while attending a premiere at New York Film Festival on Monday, 10 October.
Tilda, 61, was seen in a black velvet dress while attending a screening for her new film, The Eternal Daughter.
To mark the screening, Tilda stunned in a floor length dress, composed of gorgeous velvet. The dress featured a flattering, plunging neckline and boasted gold embellishment around the waist. The top-half of the dress emulated a blazer, while the floor-skimming skirt looked effortlessly elegant.
To complete her look, Tilda opted for black, pointed-toe high heels for a polished ensemble.
The star also chose an incredible makeup look for the screening. She wore her signature, short blonde hair parted to one side, looking very sleek. For makeup, she opted for a red lip and minimal eye makeup and blush, making for a truly statement look.
At one point during the evening, Tilda was seen sweetly and supportively holding hands with Joanna Hogg, director of The Eternal Daughter. The pair looked happy and relaxed as they attended the premiere.
Tilda wears a designer coat dress by Schiaparelli and looks just stunning. While her gown has a suitably hefty price-tag as it's designer, there are plenty of velvet looks available on the high street, so that you can emulate Tilda's look. In fact, velvet dresses are set to be a key trend for autumn/winter — perfect for party season and beyond!
We love Tilda's chic look.
