The Countess of Wessex arrived in Edinburgh for an annual Scottish week of events yesterday (27 June) wearing a stunning green look.
Sophie Wessex and her husband Prince Edward (the Queen’s youngest son) accompanied Her Majesty for her trip to Scotland for a week of traditional event in “celebration of Scottish people and Scottish culture”, according to the official Royal Family social media channels.

The first day of the visit was marked by a historic ceremony involving the exchange of keys to the city of Edinburgh between the Queen and the Lord Provost. The event took place at the Palace of Holyrood, where the royals will be residing while in Scotland.
To attend the important first day of the event week, Sophie Wessex opted for a stunning green blazer dress featuring smart lapels, button detailing and a full skirt.

She paired the midi length dress with a straw hat trimmed with a green bow, and an oversized clutch bag in brown leather. Sophie matched her leather court shoe heels with her bag to complete the look.
Clips of the day were shared to the official Royal Family Instagram account, which described the annual event as, “a week-long celebration of Scottish people and Scottish culture which will see an Investiture and Garden Party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse as well as Royal visits across the country.”
Her Majesty wore a light blue coat dress and hat for the occasion which she accessorised with some of her most-worn pearl jewellery pieces.
