The Countess of Wessex stepped out wearing a summery polka dot midi dress during an official visit to Cyprus this week.
Sophie Wessex and her husband Prince Edward (the Queen’s youngest son) met the nation’s President and First Lady today (21 June) and were welcomed into the Presidential Palace.
For the official occasion, Sophie opted for a chic long sleeve midi dress featuring a summery polka dot prink with orange and pink spots against a white background. The Countess paired the dress with neutral court shoe heels and a tan clutch bag.
While at the Presidential Palace of Cyprus, the royal couple inspected the Guard of Honour as part of their visit. A clip shared to the official Royal Family’s social media showed the pair standing alongside the President and First Lady along a red carpet, opposite the Guard.
Sophie Wessex and Prince Edward arrived in Cyprus yesterday (20 June) and joined a reception from held in honour of the Queen’s birthday and Platinum Jubilee.
The event was held by the British High Commissioner and, while attending, the royals “met representatives from across the British Cypriot community,” according to the Royal Family website.
Photographs shared on Twitter as well as Instagram stories showed the pair enjoying the evening and meeting various individuals, as part of their two day visit in the Republic of Cyprus.
For this event, Sophie Wessex opted for another long sleeve midi dress, this time in gold with a satin-line finish, which suited the more formal occasion.
