Holly Willoughby looked charming in yellow for a special royal appointment at Buckingham Palace yesterday (24 May).
The ITV presenter wore head-to-toe yellow to film a special episode of morning show This Morning at the royal residence to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year.
The star opted for a floral midi dress with a ruffle hem and yellow, closed-toe court shoe heels for the special visit. The dress featured structured puff sleeves which tied in bows at the cuffs.
The high-neckline dress was the perfect choice for the palace, being summery and demure while still being stylish, in true Holly Willoughby fashion.
Holly shared a photograph of her look outside the palace on Instagram. In a caption posted alongside the image, Holly described the experience as “one of those special moments” on This Morning.
She added that it was a “privilege to take our show to Buckingham Palace today to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee”, before extending her thanks to the Royal Family.
In the post, Holly also revealed that her charming dress is by cult-favourite fashion brand, The Vampire’s Wife. Rather than buying the dress new however, she explained she had rented it clothes sharing platform Hurr, adding the hashtag #sustainablefashion.
While Holly’s look might be fit for a Queen, it would also be ideal for a whole host of summer occasions.
