The Countess of Wessex attended an Easter service on Sunday (17 April) alongside her daughter, Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor.
Sophie Wessex and Lady Louise joined other members of the royal family for the Easter Matins Service in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle over the weekend.
The pair both opted for bright, summery floral looks and finished their outfits with chic hats.
Sophie Wessex wore a long sleeve dress in bold peacock tones by British designer Soler London, paired with a turquoise and feather headpiece from Jane Taylor.
Lady Louise also opted for long sleeve maxi dress in a floral pattern, but this time in fuchsia pink. She added a circular cream hat in a similar style to that of a traditional French beret.
Also attending the event was Sophie Wessex’s husband Prince Edward, the Queen’s youngest child, and their son, James, Viscount Severn.
The Wessex family joined the Cambridges for the Easter service at Windsor. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge brought their two eldest children with them, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The young royals wore co-ordinating outfits to their parents, with the whole family in matching blue tones.
This year, the Queen was not able to attend the traditional Easter service. Her Majesty has reduced her public appearance schedule in recent months due to mobility and health issues, but other members of the royal family have been stepping in to represent on her behalf.
