Princess Anne attended an agricultural show in Sydney, Australia which she officially opened before meeting stallholders.
The Princess Royal opened the Royal Sydney Easter Show, hosted by the Royal Agricultural Society of New South Wales. The show featured a range of livestock, crafts, produce and skills, which were presented by regional communities.
To attend the event, Princess Anne wore a chic coat in pale green with wide lapels and a matching, asymmetric hat.
Photos of the royal’s visit were shared to the official Royal Family Instagram page and show Princess Anne meeting and shaking hands with individuals and stallholders. She can also be seen delivering a speech and smiling as she travels in a traditional carriage.
A caption alongside the images explained that, while at the event, the Princess Royal also “learnt more about the challenges faced by those on the land after years of drought and recent floods.”
Members of the public left messages of support on the post saying, “its lovely to see Princess Anne in Australia...Such a huge asset to the royal family" and “Love this hard working woman.”
Princess Anne is a patron of a number of organisations and attends many events as a working member of the Royal Family.
She is frequently seen wearing green and recently re-wore a favourite green tweed coat for the planting of a tree in honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
