The Duchess of Cambridge appeared to be having a wonderful time meeting a local community while on royal tour in the Caribbean this weekend (Sunday 20 March), alongside the Duke of Cambridge.
The Duchess wore a stunning blue midi dress, with a floral print in the colours of the Belize flag. The Tory Burch dress also featured a square neckline and tiered hemline.
She accessorised the dress with a pair of statement blue earrings by Sezane for a bold summer look.
Footage of the Duke and Duchess’ visit was shared to the royal couple’s official Instagram account.
A caption alongside the post explains that Prince William were welcomed by “the Garifuna community…here in Hopkins,” adding, “Thank you Mama G for hosting such a special event!”
In the videos, Prince William and Kate can be seen chatting to members of community and also dancing with them. Prince William was also in blue, wearing a shirt and navy trousers and in one clip can be seen dancing back and forth and appearing to have a wonderful time.
In another clip, the Duchess crouches down to chat to a little girl who shows Kate her doll and also meets local school children.
They can also be seen clapping to performances, walking along the beach and finding out more about life and traditions in the area.
On Instagram, the couple said that it was, “a privilege to spend time with the Garifuna community and experience some of their traditions.”
An earlier post showed the Duke and Duchess emerging from a plane in Belize, which it explained was the first stop of the couple's Caribbean tour.
