Prince George joined his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, this weekend (Saturday 26 February) to watch the rugby match between England and Wales.
The royal trio attended the event at Twickenham Stadium in London for the Six Nations event, and Prince George was pictured enjoying himself alongside his parents.
In one photograph taken during the event, Prince George can be seen playfully sticking his tongue, while in others the Duchess is pictured laughing with her son and pointing things out to him in the crowd.
To attend the event, Kate wore a chic houndstooth blazer over a black, roll neck jumper with a pair of £5 accessorise earrings. The now sold-out earrings have been worn by Kate before and are a stylish dual circle design, in gold.
The Duchess’ most poignant accessory for the occasion, however, was her England Rugby scarf.
Kate is now patron of England Rugby while Prince William is patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, so the pair were able to show their support for both sides during the game.
Earlier this year, the Duchess joined England Rugby players for a training match and got stuck in kicking the ball and learning the ropes.
Footage of her visit was shared to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s official Instagram account.
A caption alongside the post explained that Kate met, “the players, staff and referees representing the sport at the highest level,” and added she, “even put the 👟 on to get a taste of how the teams train. Wishing both teams the best of luck in their upcoming tournaments!”
