The Duchess of Cambridge looked festive as she stepped out in head-to-toe red to host a community carol service at Westminster Abbey last night (8 December).
The Duchess wore a stunning red coat by Catherine Walker, a designer she has been seen wearing before, and a pair of coordinating red heels to complete the monochrome look.
Kate’s outfit was perfect for the carol service she was hosting at Westminster Abbey, attended by members of the community who had made a difference over the pandemic.
If you’re looking to replicate the Duchess’ stunning red coat this Christmas, we’ve rounded up some of our favourite high street alternatives below.
Photographs of the event were shared to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s official Instagram account.
Alongside the images, the Duchess explained, “We will be reflecting on the extraordinary challenges we have faced in recent times and celebrating the acts of kindness that we have witnessed across the nation as communities pulled together to help each other and protect those in need.”
A preview of the rehearsals was also shared to the account ahead of the event, showing the Westminster Abbey choir practicing before the service.
As well as the choir, performances from Ellie Goulding, Leona Lewis and Tom Walker were scheduled, as was a reading from Prince William. ITV’s Kate Garraway is also meant to have spoken at the service, which will be broadcast later this month on TV.
You can watch the Together at Christmas special on ITV at 7.30pm on Christmas Eve.
