Looking for advice on how to tame your hair if you've been unable to make it to the hairdressers yet following lockdown? Then please allow the amazing Diane Keaton and her fabulous hat tutorial to give you inspiration, or if nothing else, brighten your day. Her decor is the stuff of dreams, too...
The Hollywood star, who is known for her unique sense of style, has been showcasing her impressive selection of chic hats while modelling each one in a video on Instagram.
"OK, so today we're going to focus on hats – I mean obviously we're in lockdown, so we're not going to our hair stylists to get our hair done," the Book Club star began. "So look, this [my hair] is pathetic! It's pathetic and I want it erased.
"So, what I thought I would do is show how a hat can help us out during these times of trouble. Here are a few of my hats – as you can I see, I have a problem, I'm addicted."
Diane then takes us through to another room in her home with a huge wooden table, covered with a generous display of hats. Picking up a brown, wide-brimmed one and trying it on for size, she announces: "If you think your hair is hideous, you can do this and it will cover it all."
Friends and fans were loving Diane's tutorial, with actress Mary Steenburgen commenting: "I am grinning from ear to ear. Hatless but utterly delighted. I love you my astounding friend."
A fan added: "Those hats! That table! That floor!"
Hairdressers in the UK were allowed to reopen from 4 July, provided that safety measures are in place, including the use of visors. However, given we've yet to secure an appointment, we might just give Diane's tip a try.
