When the Duchess of Sussex's charity clothing range for Smart Works launched in September, it's safe to say we were excited to see the items she chose for her collaboration with Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Jigsaw and designer brand Misha Nonoo.
High on our wish-list was the M&S 'Smart Set Dress' Meghan chose in black and dark blue. The £19.50 Crepe Shift Dress boasted three-quarter sleeves, a flattering knee length and a chic cut-out detailing at its neckline.
And, while Meghan's charity 'Smart Works Set' collection is sadly no longer available, Marks & Spencer has now released the same style of dress in a brand new print.
Yes, the £19.50 dress now comes in an on-trend paisley print for autumn/winter, and we reckon it's the perfect everyday dress for work.
A Marks & Spencer spokesperson confirmed to Good Housekeeping that it is indeed the same style dress as Meghan's 'Smart Set' piece, just in a different print.
Of course, there is one major difference: while the original 'Smart Set Dress' was part of Meghan's charity collection – meaning dresses were donated to Smart Works on a 'like for like' basis for every sale made – this new piece is simply part of Marks & Spencer's normal clothing range.
Still, given that the style got Meghan's royal seal of approval, we're definitely keen to snap it up. We'll have to be quick though, as the dress already seems to have sold out in a number of sizes...
You can also still buy the original M&S Collection Crepe Shift Dress in Black, Rich Blue and Pink on the M&S website but, again, it's worth noting that the charity model is no longer operating.
