Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, arrived at John Lewis's flagship department store in London on Thursday (12 September) to launch a new capsule collection of workwear, in support of the charity Smart Works. Meghan's appearance at the launch marked the end of her maternity leave, having welcomed baby Archie Mountbatten-Windsor on May 6, 2019.
The former actress has worked with several brands to help create the five-piece collection, dubbed The Smart Set, which features key workwear looks for women attending interviews and entering, or reentering, the workforce. For every piece sold, another will be donated to Smart Works to help a woman in need.

The duchess looked effortlessly chic showcasing pieces from the collection, including a white shirt by her close friend and fashion designer Misha Nonoo, and sleek black trousers by Jigsaw. She completed her sharp outfit with a pair of her late mother-in-law's earrings.
