The Duchess of Cambridge delighted royal fans by stepping out for a surprise appearance today (9 September) to open the new "Back To Nature" play garden at RHS Garden Wisley in Surrey.

The new playground was inspired by Kate's Chelsea Flower Show garden design, which was unveiled back in May.

Back to work following a summer break, Kate made the most of the September sunshine in a summery floral dress by one of her go-to designers, Emilia Wickstead.
