A month after Princess Eugenie tied the knot to Jack Brooksbank at Windsor Castle, designer Zac Posen has shared new photos of the bride's reception gown, which he custom-designed for the October 12 celebration.

While the official portraits from the event only show the front of the princess' blush caped dress, Posen's new shots, taken from inside his atelier during production, reveal the dramatic back for the first time.

The dress featured a stunning chiffon train and cape that cascaded down from the shoulders, with a line of buttons down the spine. Most noticeably, the design included a plunging back, just like her Peter Pilotto wedding gown, which bravely showed her scars from the scoliosis surgery she had at age 12.

"[It's] a lovely way to honour the people who looked after me and a way of standing up for young people who also go through this," Eugenie previously said of the open back design. "I think you can change the way beauty is, and you can show people your scars and I think it's really special to stand up for that."

Eugenie's Posen number was "inspired by the beauty of Windsor and the surrounding countryside," according to a statement from her father, the Duke of York. As a nod to the family, the White Rose of York was also embroidered on the shoulder and back, to hold the cape and the dress together.

Her white long-sleeve Pilotto gown at the wedding ceremony was also full of familial symbols, as the embroidery on the jacquard silk fabric included a thistle for Scotland, honoring the couple's love of Balmoral; a shamrock for Ireland, honoring the bride's maternal family, Ferguson; and the York Rose and ivy, honoring the couple's home.
