While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were getting ready to show their newborn baby to the world at Windsor Castle on Wednesday (8 May), Prince William and Kate were out and about in North Wales.
The Duchess of Cambridge chose a stunning red blazer for the joint visit to the Caernarfon Coastguard Search and Rescue Helicopter Base – and we have to admit we're now eager to copy her look!
Kate wore her striking red blazer with military-style gold buttons by designer Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini over a black polo neck, paired with simple black jeans and heeled boots.

The duchess wore her hair up in a bouncy ponytail, completing her look with coordinating gold drop earrings. She also carried the black Mayfair bag by luxury brand Aspinal.
It's been a busy week for Will and Kate. The royal couple were out and about on Tuesday (7 May) in London, where they told reporters just how thrilled they were at the arrival of Baby Sussex.
"We're looking forward to meeting him and finding out what his name's going to be," Kate said.
"These next few weeks are always a bit daunting the first time round so we wish them all the best."
She continued: "It's such a special time, obviously with Louis and Charlotte just having had their birthdays it's such a great time of year to have a baby; spring is in the air."
