The Duchess of Cambridge wore a pair of sapphire earrings which once belonged to Princess Diana during an event in London on Thursday (3 February), alongside Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.
Kate's blue sapphire earrings are surrounded by a ring of diamonds and co-ordinate with her iconic ring, which also belonged to Princess Diana. The earrings were remodelled (from a stud style to a hanging earring) and gifted to the Duchess by Prince William after their engagement.
The sentimental set seem to be a favourite of Kate's as she has been seen wearing them a number of times since her wedding in 2011.
In her latest outing, the Duchess wore the earrings with a grey Catherine Walker coat dress, featuring a smart black collar. She accessorised the outfit with a classic black Mulberry handbag (already sold out), black tights and low-heeled pumps.
A selection of photographs shared to official social media channels show the Duchess alongside Prince Charles and Camilla, with the iconic O2 area behind them.
The Royals were on a visit to Trinity Buoy Wharf in London to visit a number of programs which receive support from the Prince’s Trust.
In a caption shared alongside the post, Kate said it was, “wonderful to be surrounded by creative activities at @trinitybuoywharf today - where an abundance of passion, talent and imagination is on display.”
The caption went onto explain that the programmes visited “provide valuable skills to help prepare young people as they transition to art school, architecture school, craft colleges or directly into practice.”
Further images shared show the Duchess of Cambridge meeting individuals on the program and seeing their work, such as sketches.
