Holly Willoughby chose a rather unique print to don on Monday while hosting This Morning (22 March). The star opted for a classic silk dress but in a beautiful illustrated stallion print.
Looking like the sketches of a country artist, the navy and cream silk dress is covered in statuesque horses and even a a few foals, and it's such an interesting choice.
The midi length dress is beautifully tailored with asymmetric pleats at the waist creating almost a knot or twist like illusion, and hanging beautifully.
Adding to the elegance are the long cuffed sleeves, mirroring the high round neck with the same smooth banded finish.
And while horses aren't exactly what jumps to our mind with the words animal print, it seems there are a fair few horse print dresses on the high street.
While the Whistles silk stallion print dress comes in at £249, we've found several cheaper alternatives from some of our favourite brands. It's so interesting to see how each has taken the majestic animal and turned it into a print that is so on brand.
