HRH The Countess of Wessex stepped out looking elegant in a white coat alongside husband Prince Edward for a visit to a farm in London on Thursday (1 October).
The royals both dressed up for their joint appearance at Vauxhall City Farm, where they learned about the farm's community engagement and education programmes, as it marked the start of Black History Month.
The couple met with schoolchildren taking part in the farm's educational activities during Black History Month in October, and also spoke to graduates of its six-week New Shoots programme, which helps young people aged 16-25 learn the skills needed to gain employment.
The Countess wore her chic winter white coat with tailored khaki trousers and a purple knit, completing her outfit with tan boots that were perfect for the autumnal weather, while the Earl chose a traditional tweed blazer.
Despite their smart attire, Sophie and Edward weren't afraid to get involved on the farm by helping to feed the goats and llamas, and even potting plants.
We can't help but be impressed that the Countess managed to undertake such messy activities without getting anything on her bright white coat! We doubt we'd have been able to walk away looking so flawless!
In our eyes, a chic white coat is one of those classic staples that will always have a place in your winter wardrobe.
While we're not sure where Sophie's hails from, there are plenty of alternatives on the high street right now if you fancy emulating her latest look.
