Yesterday, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared some snaps of their family at the Chelsea Flower Show on the Royal family’s official Instagram page. They show Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis playing in the Royal Horticultural Society ‘Back to Nature’ Garden designed by the Duchess (with help from architects Andrée Davies and Adam White).

But while everyone was oohing and aww'ing at the adorable royal children, we were cooing over Kate’s floral dress. Because it is clearly just as cute.

And we have good news people, the floral-print number is super-affordable: £79 from & Other Stories. But, the bad news is, it’s already sold out...like most high street pieces Kate wears.

The midi is cut at the same length and has a peplum hem, just like the Duchess'. However, it has a ruffled bib rather than a mandarin collar and a looser, more relaxed silhouette.

It's a versatile piece – you can wear it with wedges à la Kate or make it work for the office with flats.

kate middleton red coat dress pearls the british royal family celebrate commonwealth day
Kate Middleton outfit: Catherine Walker red bow coat dress

The Princess of Wales was radiant in red as she attended celebrations for Commonwealth Day alongside members of the royal family on Monday 10 March, 2025. Reaching for an old favourite, she donned her Catherine Walker coatdress, its pillar-box red hue as eye-catching as the giant, feminine bow that adorns the collar. Staying true to her penchant for rewearing items in her wardrobe, Kate has previously donned the design for the Together at Christmas Carol Service at Westminster Abbey in December 2022 as well as for the South Korean President’s State Visit in November 2023.

The Princess is also well known for her love of colour drenching, something she again stuck to in this latest ensemble. She paired the coatdress with red suede Gianvito Rossi pumps, a matching satin clutch bag and a circular Gina Foster hat that featured 3D rose detailing on the top.

Kate finished the look with Queen Elizabeth II's pearl choker. The pearls were gifted to the late monarch during her first state visit to Japan in 1975. She then had them constructed into a four-strand necklace with a diamond-embellished central clasp by court jeweller Garrard. Coordinating Collingwood pearl and diamond drop earrings, which once belonged to Princess Diana, completed the look.

Following the announcement that she would be resuming her royal duties post-treatment for her cancer diagnosis, the Princess of Wales joined her husband, Prince William, for the Ceremonial Welcome at Horse Guards Parade during day one of the Amir of the State of Qatar's visit to the UK on Tuesday 3 December 2024.

For the occasion, Kate was rocking the It colour we've been seeing everywhere this season: burgundy. However, as with almost all of her outfits, there was so much more to the look than initially meets the eye. The head-to-toe hue could be interpreted as a knowing sartorial nod to the colour of the Qatar flag.

A coordinating hat, Chanel maroon quilted flap bag, leather gloves and slouchy knee-high heeled boots completed the look. As for her jewellery, she wore a diamond and pearl necklace, previously worn by Princess Diana and once belonging to Queen Elizabeth II, with matching diamond and pearl drop earrings.

Kate Middleton outfit: Lover's Knot tiara and Jenny Packham gown

In a beautiful fashion homage to Princess Diana, Kate Middleton attended a diplomatic reception at Buckingham Palace wearing what is widely considered to have been her favourite headpiece – the striking, diamond- and pearl-encrusted Lover's Knot tiara. The Princess of Wales has worn the piece on a few occasions over the years, this marking her 11th outing in the tiara to date.

And ever queen of the rewear, Kate also donned a dress we've seen her in before: a beautiful shimmering rose gold, sequin-covered gown by British designer Jenny Packham, that she debuted earlier this year at the royal wedding in Jordan. Well, when the outfit looks this good, we can't blame her for wanting to wear it again! We certainly would...

As part of the State Visit of the President of the Republic of Korea, the Princess of Wales pulled out all the stops at a State Banquet at Buckingham Palace. Looking regal in a gorgeous white Jenny Packham gown with caped sleeves featuring gold embroidery, Kate added over-the-elbow white gloves, a pair of earrings belonging to Queen Elizabeth, and her Family Order and her GCVO sash and star.

But it was her tiara that really stole the show. A wedding gift to the Queen Mother from her parents in 1923, the Strathmore Rose Tiara is a delicate silver and gold floral design decorated with diamonds that hasn't been out of the vault since the 1930s. This marks the first time Kate has worn the tiara, and she is only the second person to wear it in public.

Earlier in the day, Kate attended a ceremonial welcome for The President and the First Lady of the Republic of Korea. Opting to wear the colour of the moment, Kate's festive red caped coat dress was from one of her favourite brands, Catherine Walker. As well as wearing AW23's biggest colour trend, she also channelled tonal dressing by coordinating her accessories – including a Jane Taylor hat and Gianvito Rossi heels – in the same hue. Perhaps a tribute to the late Queen, who often repped colour blocking? Kate also honoured Princess Diana in the look, adding a pair of her sapphire and diamond oval drop earrings.

Proving she's a country-loving gal at heart, Kate Middleton ditched her tailored trouser suits and heels to take part in a 'Dad Walk' activity during a visit to a North London community for dads and their children. She turned to her favourite khaki Barbour jacket for the occasion in the November drizzle, pairing the jacket with dark blue straight-leg jeans and Blundstone Chelsea boots. Erdem's 'Lotus' striped cashmere sweater added a fashionable touch to her off-duty look. BRB, copying this look immediately.

Kate Middleton outfit: Zara blazer

Even with a huge wardrobe and alllll the designer clothes at her disposal, it's heartwarming to see that Kate Middleton is just like us – rewearing her fave pieces over and over again. The white blazer that the Princess of Wales wore to cheer on England at the Rugby World Cup in Marseille is the perfect example.

The white bouclé double-breasted design with gold buttons is by none other than high street hero Zara – and has been a mainstay of the Princess' wardrobe for years now. Not only has she worn it to numerous events, but she also owns the style in multiple colours.

This time around, Kate kept her look simple but elegant AF, wearing the blazer buttoned up and paired with black trousers and a classic Chanel flap bag. Très chic!

After a long – and at times questionable – summer, we are officially ready to welcome autumn. Cosy knits, winter coats, boots... bring it on! And it seems Kate Middleton is the same, as she served new season style inspo when she attended a Community Hub on an official visit. She layered the Janie sleeveless funnel neck jumper from Cefinn over a white collared shirt and added chic grey wide-leg tailored trousers. A pair of check loafers with a tassel toe detail completed the 'fit. Well, that's our autumn workwear outfit sorted.

Kate Middleton outfit: Burberry suit

The Princess of Wales has been loving a monochrome suit recently, and her latest outfit was no different. Kate Middleton paid a visit to two textile mills in West Yorkshire wearing a glorious, bottle-green two-piece suit by Burberry for the occasion – paired with a classic white button-down shirt, plus a gold chain necklace and simple hoop earrings. Simply divine.

The Princess of Wales was a vision in white in Marseille, France, over the weekend as she attended the England v Argentina match at the Rugby World Cup. The royal brought out one of her favourite blazers for the occasion, a sleek design by Alexander McQueen that she has been spotted in a few times already, and which she paired with matching wide-leg trousers, a vest top, pointed-toe heels and an ivory woven leather clutch that looks very Bottega Veneta – but is in fact by high street hero Massimo Dutti.Très chic!

Kate Middleton outfit: Balmain mint blazer

The Princess of Wales is an avid tennis fan and a regular attendee at Wimbledon over the years as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. And she made sure to stand out for her first outing of this year’s championships in an eye-catching mint green blazer.

Not only is the style very '80s, it's also very Princess Diana. Kate's design is from Balmain's 2021 collection and features a contrast shawl collar, double-breasted front, and sharp shoulders that are reminiscent of the green Catherine Walker blazer dress worn by the late Princess of Wales to Trooping the Colour in 1988.

Kate styled the blazer over a white pleated midi dress and court shoes in the same hue, and was also photographed at one point with a white Mulberry handbag. Talk about preppy perfection.

Kate Middleton outfit: Beulah 'Ahana' pink dress

Sure, Kate Middleton may not be repping Y2K cargo pants or the current celeb-favourite naked dress lewk, but the Princess of Wales makes sure to stay on trend while dressing appropriately for her role as a member of the Royal family. Just look at the Barbiecore inspired pretty pastel pink dress she wore for her visit to officially open The Young V&A at V&A Museum Of Childhood in London. Kate even paired the frock with white court shoes just as Barbie herself (AKA Margot Robbie) did with one of the actress' many pink 'fits during the film's press tour.

Kate's dress is the 'Ahana' style from one of her favourite British brands, Beulah. And if it looks familiar, that's because Kate first stepped out in it at the Wimbledon championships in 2021. The design is certainly worthy of a princess with its puff shoulder detail and flowing A-line skirt.

The Princess' choice to wear the pale hue follows a string of appearances she's made in similar colourways, including the rose trouser suit she wore last month and not one but two pink dresses she donned for a royal wedding in Jordan.

And can we take a minute for that bouncy blowout?

Kate Middleton outfit: Andrew GN coat dress

This year's Trooping the Colour ceremony is not only the first birthday parade held in King Charles' honour, but also Kate's first as the Princess of Wales. And she included another first for the occasion in her choice of designer. Kate made sure to stand out for the occasion by wearing an emerald green coat dress by Singapore-born, Paris-based designer Andrew GN, her debut in the brand.

Queen Rania of Jordan has previously worn Andrew GN's looks on many occasions, and Kate's decision to don one of his creations now may be in tribute to her husband Prince William, whose upcoming Earthshot Prize Ceremony will be held in Singapore later this year. Similarly, the vibrant hue of the ensemble as well as Kate's gold Cartier shamrock brooch is likely a nod to her new colonelcy of the Irish Guards.

Kate completed the 'fit with a wide-brimmed Philip Treacy hat, a clutch bag, and classic courts all in the same shade of bright green. For her jewellery, she wore sapphire and diamond drop earrings that previously belonged to Princess Diana – and perfectly complemented the jeweled buttons decorating the front of Kate's dress.

For one of her first public appearances as the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton opted for a vibrant, corporate chic number.

Kate visited the Royal Surrey County Hospital’s Maternity Unit and her outfit is absolutely radiant. Dressed in a (now sold-out) pleated marigold number by Karen Millen, the Princess teams the number with a pair of pointed suede pumps and a matching clutch.

To honour Remembrance Day, Kate Middleton attended the Imperial War Museum in London yesterday. While there, the royal visited the newly-opened 'Generations: Portraits of the Holocaust' exhibition featuring over 50 portraits of Holocaust survivors and their families, including two images reportedly captured by the Duchess.

For the occasion, Kate wore a recycled Alexander McQueen military-inspired blouse from 10 years ago (scroll through to see the previous time the Duchess wore the piece) with a pair of navy trousers, matching suede shoes, a Catherine Walker coat and, of course, a poppy Remembrance pin.

Here's Kate wearing the same blouse, teamed with the matching skirt, back in 2011 for a visit to Birmingham's Summerfield Community Centre. While the Duchess swapped the pencil skirt for trousers on her most recent appearance, one thing she kept the same for both outings is her signature bouncy blowout.

Kate, who is Patron of the Forward Trust, recently made a speech to launch the charity's ‘Taking Action on Addiction’ campaign. "Addiction is not a choice. No one chooses to become an addict. But it can happen to any one of us. None of us are immune," the Duchess said in her speech.

Kate arrived at BAFTA in London on the day wearing a red pleated Christopher Kane skirt, a fitted turtleneck in the same hue, which she accessorised with a tan DeMillier purse and matching pumps.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited London's Kew Gardens this week to take part in a Generation Earshot event with The Heathland School, working with students to brainstorm "big, bold ideas to repair the planet and to help spark a lasting enthusiasm for the natural world."

For the occasion, Kate opted for a jewel-toned green Erdem coat, layered over a matching crew neck sweater and teamed with black wide-leg trousers. The green outfit is likely a nod to the occasion's environmental focus, while the sleek yet comfortable trouser trend is fast becoming a staple in the Duchess' autumn outfits - repeatedly wearing the style as part of her 'back to work' wardrobe (see also her recent camel and navy iterations).
