Kate chose a stunning mint green Alexander McQueen midi dress with a high neckline, button detailing and a flowing skirt for the occasion, paired with white heels. She wore her hair loosely waved around her shoulders.

Meghan, meanwhile, opted to recycle a cream Amanda Wakeley coat over a metallic jacquard mini dress. She completed her outfit with nude heels and a silk Wilbur & Gussie clutch bag, while her hair was worn in an elegant low bun.

Kate and Meghan are attending an event held by the Queen to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Prince Charles' Investiture as the Prince of Wales. He was given the title back in 1958 at the age of nine, although his official Investiture Ceremony took place in July 1969.

The two 37-year-olds were joined by their husbands at the reception in Buckingham Palace's The White Room, alongside guests including Prime Minister Theresa May.

Kate and Meghan haven't been out and about together in public since Christmas Day, when they appeared with Princes William and Harry at church in Sandringham.
